The office is always buzzing with patients and lots of staff. There is good reason for that. The Doctor is knowledgeable, charismatic, friendly and caring as are his PAs and front desk staff. I do wait beyond my starting time for my appt and I now factor that in when I go to see him. To me, it’s absolutely worth the wait. I don’t think you will find an endocrinologist who is as well rounded and caring as this Doctor.
Your appointment will never be on time, but you’ll realize why when you experience the individualized time and care you receive with your practitioner. Everyone is incredibly friendly - staff to staff, staff to patient. The front desk knows everyone by name and it’s a bit like the medical equivalent of Cheers. The real win for me was the honesty and high ethics of the doctors at this practice. Each doctor always took the time to explain everything to me and it was clear that my best interest was their best interest. Highly... read more
I am writing about my 95 year old mom's experience. She had an appointment on 1/28 and we were running extremely late because of traffic & other circumstances. I called the office and was told they would still see her. When we arrived we were way over an hour late. My mom has been seeing Dr. Manessis for many years, even though she was last there in 2024. Due to an accident and being in r... read more
I been a patient of Dr. Manessis for about 16 years. And believe me when I say that there are very few Dr's now that will give you the time and expertise they have to truly understand you and who you are. He doesn't treat the disease itself. He treats the person who is in front of him. He truly gets to know you. And then gives you the treatment you need. You leave the examining room like your his family. And the staff! Couldn't be more friendly if they tried. And true professional's. Eric G.
As someone who has seen a lot of doctors in and around NYC, it’s a rare experience to be treated like a human at a doctor office. My experience at the Manhattan location on 38th Street was wonderful. I was treated so nicely by the staff - Laura, the office manager was so nice and personable and made me feel comfortable on my first visit and NP Rosanne. I’m excited to find a practice that cares, listens, and doesn’t rush me out in 5 minutes.
