I went to Dr. Ali because I had a fever and cough for 2 days. I mostly just wanted to make sure that I didn’t test positive for anything since I had been around someone with Covid. Nonetheless, all tests came back negative. The NP student was very kind but Dr. Ali’s bedside manner was terrible. Not only is he rude but he kept pushing antibiotics on me even though everything was negative. Sure enough I was better 2 days later without taking antibiotics. Never going back.
Excellent experience - had an appointment, no wait time. Doctor and nurse practitioner very attentive, helpful and kind. We were there for emergency room follow up and made another appointment on the way out. Everything that I need from a doctor - timeliness, advice and consultation with kind bedside manner they delivered on.
My visit to Family Practice in Palatine was very pleasant. After being greeted and checked in by the very competent and nice receptionist, I was brought in and my vitals were taken by Timothy. Afterward, doctor’s assistant Gabriela took my information regarding my visit. After that, I saw Dr. Mir Ale, who gave his diagnosis. It all went smoothly and I was soon on my way. All very pleasant.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. Went in for an easy check to see if what I had was a hemorrhoid... And not only did the "doctor" not fully check, she claimed she was almost certain it wasn't... Well the gastro specialist I had to go waste my money on confirmed that in fact, it WAS just a hemorrhoid so time, money, and worry wasted yeah you can keep your "care" no thanks 👍
Dr Ali is very knowledgeable and cares about his patients. His staff is also kind and tries to address any concerns. The MA, Asma, is excellent with finding difficult veins for blood draws. I would highly recommend this clinic.
